Remember when I had a class of young girls for a birthday party with a difference?

The mum brought me the pictures yesterday, and here's the happy girls with their great bags and huge smiles.

Margaret finished a runner for her dear friend yesterday.

She found the teacup print and knew it was just right for a gift for her friend who loves to 'play ladies'.

Using cutouts from two other fabrics, she appliqueed them to a dark blotchy navy fabric to echo the background of the inspiration print. Don't you just love it?
